MEHR: Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani will reportedly pay a visit to an Arab state in the coming days.
Nour News, a news outlet close to Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in a tweet announced that Shamkhani will travel to one of the Arab countries of the region before the end of the current Iranian year [to be ended on March 20].
The purpose of his visit is to meet with the high officials of that country and to resolve some important security and economic cases, according to the Nour News' tweet.
The report came as the Russian news agency 'Sputnik' reported on Monday evening, quoting informed sources, that important talks are currently underway between Iran and Bahrain in order to normalize relations.
It reported, quoting the mentioned sources, that the consultations that have taken place between the two countries so far have been on a bilateral level and without mediation, and it is likely that the results will be announced soon if there is an agreement on all the disputed issues.

As a start of mending relations, Al Musallam said, there have been talks of reopening air routes between the two countries.
