MEHR: Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri has told the Turkish defense minister that the US military support for the Zionist Israeli regime amid war on Gaza will complicate the situation.
Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri has a telephone conversation with Turkish National Defence Minister Yashar Güler during which they discussed the recent actions by the Zionist regime in intensifying the pressures, its assertiveness and desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian people.
"Serious action should be taken to prevent the continuation of the Zionist regime's brutal attacks on civilians in Gaza and to provide them with humanitarian aid, including food and medicine," the top Iranian general said in the phone call.
He also considered the extensive United States support, including the delivery of heavy weapons and ammunition to the Zionist regime as the American government's complicity in the Zionist regime's crimes, and also even more complicating the situation in Gaza, and warned about its consequences.
He also asked the Turkish government to use all its means to prevent the continuation of the Zionist regime and its backers' crimes in support of the people of Gaza.
The Turkish National Defence Minister Yashar Güler, for his part, explained to General Bagheri the actions taken by the government of his country to de-escalate the tension and stop the conflict and emphasized that his country will continue those efforts.
