MEHR: The Iranian government is determined to remove the obstacles in the way of cooperation between Iranian and Chinese companies and provide the necessary platform for stable and beneficial relations for the parties.
Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Mokhber made remarks in an address to the Iran-China Business and Investment Forum on Monday.
The Chinese government should encourage its major oil companies to jointly invest in Iran's oil and gas projects, Mokhber said.
Stating that the investment of Chinese companies gives them access to the regional market, he said, "Big Iranian companies are fully prepared to export knowledge-based products to China."
He also expressed hope that holding such meetings will increase the familiarity of both sides with the capabilities of both sides.
The historic trip of President Raeisi to China this year and the meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, marked a new chapter in the expanding relations between Iran and China in the west and east of the Asian continent, he further said.
"The will and emphasis of the leaders of the two countries on deepening the relations has made us obliged to do all our efforts to implement this task," he noted.
