Iran’s minister of labor, cooperatives, and social welfare said the amicable ties between Iran and Lebanon will pave the way for strengthening Islamic unity in the international arena.

Sowlat Mortazavi made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Lebanese Labor Minister Moustafa Bayram in Tehran, emphasizing that cooperation between the two countries will lay the ground for establishing unity and amity among Islamic states more than ever.
Iran and Lebanon enjoy the potential to expand their cooperation in all fields, Mortazavi said, adding that suitable platforms have been provided for launching common activities.
He also called for accelerating the implementation of the agreements previously inked between the two countries.
The Lebanese labor minister, for his part, said that his ministry is keen on strengthening relations with Iran’s Labor Ministry.
Bayram pointed out that his country welcomes bilateral cooperation in the field of technical and vocational training services.
He also emphasized the key role of the Islamic resistance in the region, adding that the victory of the Resistance movement is imminent in the face of atrocities of the Zionist regime in the occupied territories.
