Iranian female taekwondo practitioner Mobina Nematzadeh secured her place in the 2024 Olympic Games on Friday.

She advanced to final match of the -49kg in the 2024 Asian Qualification Tournament underway in Tai’an, China, Tehran Times reported.
Nematzadeh defeated Timor-Leste Ana Da Costa Da Silva Pinto Belo and then beat Ruka Okamoto of Japan to book a place in the final match.
Nahid Kiani at the -57kg category and Mehran Barkhordari at the -80kg had previously earned two quotas for the Games.
Iran’s Arian Salimi at the +80kg will fight for a berth on Saturday.
