Minister hands over Saudi King's letter to Iran's Leader
Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman handed over a message from his country's king to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Alo Khamenei in a meeting in Tehran on Thursday.

MNA - Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman handed over a message from his country's king to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Alo Khamenei in a meeting in Tehran on Thursday.
Saudi Defense Minister, Prince Khalid Bin Salman Al Saud paid the Leader of the Islamic Revolution a visit.
In the meeting, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that "We believe that the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia will benefit both sides."
Highlighting that there are enemies to the expansion of relations between the two countries, Ayatollah Khamenei noted that, "These hostile motives must be overcome, and we are ready for that."
Referring to some of Iran's advancements in different fields, he said, "The Islamic Republic is ready to help Saudi Arabia in those areas."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that "It is much better for brothers in the region to cooperate and help each other than relying on foreign powers."
In the meeting, which was also attended by Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman expressed great happiness with the meeting, saying that, "I have come to Tehran with expanding relations with Iran and cooperation in all fields on agenda of my visit."
"We hope that the constructive talks will lay ground for stronger relations between Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran than before," the Saudi minister said.
Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud arrived in Tehran on Thursday and has held separate meetings with Major General Bagheri, General Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), and President Masoud Pezeshkian by the time this report was being published.
