General Mohammadian appointed as new Tehran Police chief
The commander-in-chief of the Iranian Law Enforcement Command (Iran's Police) has appointed general Abbasali Mohammadian as the new commander of the capital's police.

Brigadier General Ahmadreza Radan issued an order on Friday to appoint general Abbasali Mohammadian as the new chief of Tehran police.
General Mohammadian has replaced General Rahimi, who has been appointed as the new commander of the Economic Police commander by General Radan.
