Female cyclist wins Iran's first ever Asian games medal
Iranian woman, Faranak Partoazar, has won a bronze medal at the 2023 Asian cycling games to register a historic record and carve her name on Iran’s cycling history.

Following the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, Faranak could leave her powerful Kazakh rival, Alina, behind early on Monday at 11 minutes and 45 seconds sooner.
Faranak, 35, reached the finish line by crossing the mountainous path with humid weather after 01:42:44.
Partoazar’s medal is the first one gained by a female cyclist in Iranian history; it is also the fourth medal awarded to the Iranian athletes in the Hangzhou games.
The 19th Asian Games is being held in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8.
