Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi met and held talks with Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari in Tehran
During the meeting, the two ministers exchanged views on bilateral issues as well as important regional and international developments.
Vahidi appreciated the measures taken by the Iraqi government as well as the warm hospitality of the Iraqi nation to the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (AS).
Most Iranian pilgrims are satisfied with the measures of the Iraqi government and people during Arbaeen, he said.
The Iraqi minister also said that the government and the people of Iraq are very pleased to host the pilgrims of the holy shrines, especially millions of Iranian pilgrims.
They also discussed holding the ceremony of Arbaeen as magnificently as possible in the coming years.
