The foreign ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic, Armenia, Iran, Russia, and Turkey plan to hold a ‘3+3’ format meeting in Tehran on October 23.
The Russian side confirms Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s planned talks in Tehran on October 23, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told TASS News Agency.
"We confirm Lavrov’s talks in Tehran planned for Monday," Zakharova said.
Foreign ministers plan to discuss the recent developments in the South Caucasus, as well as issues of regional cooperation in the security area, the agency said, adding that the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia are the main issue on the agenda.
