Addressing his Turkish counterpart in a message, the Iranian felicitated him on Republic Day of Turkey, and he expressed hope that the economic, cultural, and political relations between the two countries would further expand.
"I am confident that the cooperation and mutual understanding of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Turkey will bring blessings and valuable fruits for the two nations and peace, stability, and prosperity of the countries of the region and the world," Raeisi said.
Republic Day is a public holiday in Turkey commemorating the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey, on 29 October 1923.
