MEHR: Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who paid a visit to Qatar on Tuesday, met and held talks with the Qatari Foreign Minister and Prime Minister in Doha.
Earlier on the same day, the Iranian top diplomat held a meeting with the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday in Doha.
This is the second visit made by Amir-Abdollahian in the last two weeks, which is due to the worsening humanitarian situation in Palestine.
Negotiation and the exchange of views about the Israeli regime's crimes and the developments in Palestine with Qatari authorities is on the agenda of the Iranian top diplomat in this trip.
Nearly a week after the Gaza conflict broke out on October 7, Amir-Abdollahian visited Iraq and took a regional tour of four countries namely Iraq, Syria, Qatar, and Lebanon for discussions focusing on the conflict.
The tours are part of Iran’s diplomatic efforts aimed at helping the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip where the Israeli regime has been constantly conducting airstrikes since October 7 and has in recent days expanded its ground operations.
