MEHR: Attacking hospitals is in violation of all standards of human rights, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said, adding that it reveals the criminal nature of the Israeli regime more obvious.
"After the failure of the Israeli regime's officials in proving false claims about the Al-Shifa hospital, the army of the regime resumed its attacks on other hospitals in Gaza," Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani wrote on his X account on Saturday.
"Attacks on Jordanian and Indonesian hospitals in Gaza showed another manifestation of the regime's aggression and brutality," Kan'ani said.
Attacking hospitals is in conflict with all standards of human rights, international law, and Geneva Conventions and makes the criminal nature of this regime more obvious to the world, the Iranian diplomat added.
Tel Aviv waged the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas carried out the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in retaliation for intensified Israeli crimes against Palestinians.
According to the Palestinian authorities, at least 11,500 Palestinians, including over 4,700 children and 3,155 women, have been killed and over 29,200 others injured in the Israeli strikes.
