Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has urged the immediate cessation of genocide in Gaza and the West Bank.
MEHR: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has urged the immediate cessation of genocide in Gaza and the West Bank.
Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks upon his arrival in the Russian capital city of Moscow where he is scheduled to participate in the meeting of Caspian Sea foreign ministers on Tuesday morning.
The top Iranian diplomat said that he would discuss ways to immediately stop the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, open a humanitarian corridor to dispatch humanitarian aid, and prevent the forced migration of Palestinian people with Caspian Sea foreign ministers.
Referring to the strengthening economic cooperation among the five Caspian littoral states, Amir-Abdollahian urged economic and trade plans for bolstering economic ties.
It is scheduled to have a meeting with the Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, he said, adding that the purpose of the meeting is to pursue the latest agreements reached between the presidents of the two countries last year.
The Foreign Ministers of the countries bordering the Caspian Sea will meet in Moscow on December 5 under the presidency of Russia.
The Caspian littoral states are Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.
