Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote on his X account about President Raeisi's one-day visit to Moscow.
The negotiations and an important meeting between the presidents of Iran and Russia were held in the Kremlin for five hours, he wrote.
He continued that an important part of the negotiations was focused on the issue of Palestine. The parties emphasized the need to immediately stop the war and genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, stop the forced migration of Gaza residents, and immediately open the Rafah crossing to dispatch massive humanitarian aid, he added.
The Iranian foreign minister further stressed that bilateral relations in different fields including banking-monetary affairs, transit, railway, agriculture, energy, science, technology, tourism, and industry were discussed between the two sides as well.
