Abbasali Kadkhodaei, the head of the Iranian Constitutional Council’s research center and a member of the country’s legal community, sharply criticized the United States for its unwavering military and diplomatic support for the Israeli regime.
Kadkhodaei expressed concern about the recent US veto at the UN Security Council on the Gaza ceasefire resolution, labeling it a direct threat to global peace and security.
He expressed his dismay in a post on his official X account, stating that "the US not (only failed to) alleviate the pain and suffering of people in Gaza (but also) is just watching kids die."
He emphasized the tragic outcome of the US backing for the Zionist regime, saying the “military and diplomatic” support for the Zionist regime of Israel has resulted in indescribable sorrow and grief for mankind.”
Kadkhodaei underscored the severity of the situation, stating that the recent US veto on the Gaza truce resolution at the UN poses “a direct threat to international peace and security."
