President Raeisi arrived in the southeastern city to attend the funeral and commemoration of the martyrs of the Wednesday deadly twin terrorist blasts in Kerman.
Shortly after his arrival, the president visited the injured in hospitals.
The funeral and burial ceremonies of the martyrs in the Kerman terrorist explosions will be held later on Friday today inside the Kerman Friday prayer mosque, then the bodies of the martyrs will be transported to Golzar Shahada in a funeral and buried there. Kerman governorate has asked citizens not to go to Golzar Shahada for funerals.
Iran observed a national day of mourning after Wednesday's terror attack targeting civilians in the southern city of Kerman. Two blasts killed dozens of Iranians and injured scores more at a ceremony marking the fourth assassination anniversary of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
The ISIL terrorist group, which is backed by the United States, Zionist Israeli regime and the Western countries has claimed responsibility for two explosions.
At least 84 people, including children and women were martyred and more than 280 others were wounded in that attack.
