In response to the phone call from his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić, Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi thanked the Serbian government and nation for their sympathy with the Islamic Republic of Iran over the Wednesday terrorist attack in Kerman and emphasized that Theran will definitely punish "leaders, managers and perpetrators" of the crime.
The President of Serbia, for his part, pointed out that his country stands by Iran in the fight against terrorism, and emphasized Serbia's interest in developing cooperation with Iran.
Stating that cowardly actions kile the twin blasts in Kerman will not stop the great nation of Iran from its lofty goals in confronting cruelty, oppression and injustice, Raeisi clarified that no support from any power will protect the perpetrators involved in this crime.
