MEHR: Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian arrived in Iraq on Monday to hold meetings with the officials of the Arab country.
Upon his arrival in Baghdad on Monday morning, Ahmadian was welcomed by the Iraqi officials.
Back in January, Ahmadian and Iraq’s National Security Advisor Qasim Mohammad Jalal al-Araji held a phone conversation, discussing the relations between the two countries and their joint efforts to protect the security of both sides.
They discussed the “historical and brotherly” ties between the two countries as well as joint efforts aimed at protecting their security.
Ahmadian said that any action by the Israeli regime against the Iranian people and government, originating from any country, will not be accepted.
