Iran taekwondokas bag colorful medals at Fujairah Open 2024
Iranian taekwondo athletes won eight colorful medals in the 11th Fujairah Open 2024 G2 International Taekwondo Championship underway in the UAE.

Iranian taekwondo practitioners grabbed four gold, two silver, and two bronze medals in the sporting event.
In the weight class of Female -46kg, two Iranian fighters met at the finals, Sogand Shiri defeated Sayna Karimi to reach the gold medal, and Shiri received a silver medal.
Another Iranian female taekwondoka Tina Modanlou emerged victorious against her French rival Kanelya Carabin in the final and grabbed the gold medal.
Iranian men’s taekwondokas Mahdi Hajimousaei (-58 kg) and Arian Salimi (+87kg) each received gold medals.
Also, Abolfazl Zandi (-58kg) won a silver medal, while Alireza Hosseinpour in the Men -58kg and Sogol Shiri in the Female -49kg each claimed bronze medals.
The G2 tournament is being held at the Sheikh Zayed Sports City in Fujairah, UAE from February 4 to 7.
