Iran, Kyrgyzstan discuss developing security cooperation
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Akbar Ahmadian and Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Imankulov held a meeting in Bishkek on Friday to discuss expanding cooperation.

During the meeting, the two Iranian and Kyrgyz security chiefs voiced concern over the ct of some Western countries in providing financial aid to terrorist groups in Afghanistan.
They also expressed opposition to the West's interference in the domestic affairs of regional countries with the aim of imposing its will on them.
The two officials also stressed the need for Tehran and Bishkek to expand cooperation in different fields including military and security.
Ahmadian departed for Bishkek on Thursday at the official invitation of his Kyrgyz counterpart in order to attend a security meeting on Afghanistan with the presence of top security officials from several countries of the region.
