General Bagheri:
Iran defense deterrence stable shield for national security
Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri says that Iran's defense deterrence has created a stable shield for the national security of the country.
MEHR: Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri says that Iran's defense deterrence has created a stable shield for the national security of the country.
Major General Mohammad Bagheri made the remarks while speaking at the joining ceremony of two new warships to the IRGC Navy in Bandar Abbas on Monday morning.
Touching upon the issue of US presence in the region, Bagheri cited that the invading American army had left the region to some extent, but it immediately came back to the region under various pretexts and in other forms.
He went on to say that the heroic October 7 operation carried out by the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas against the Tel Aviv regime caused the criminal US to return to the region and use the al-Aqsa Strom Operation as an excuse to unhesitatingly support the crimes of the child-killing Zionist regime.
Dubbing the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip a major incident that made a new history for the region and the world, he stressed, "The fate of this war is completely obvious, there is no doubt about the unique and irreparable defeat of the Zionist regime by some of the oppressed and besieged people of Gaza."
"No power can change the fate of this war," the Iranian general emphasized.
"The Zionists suffered a defeat that cannot be compensated, but they want to compensate for this defeat by killing defenseless people, which is definitely not possible," he added.
Israel waged its brutal war on besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out an unprecedented operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.
The Ministry of Health, run by Hamas in Gaza, announced that the number of Palestinian deaths had risen to 28,858 since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023.
Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
