90,000 Iranians to travel to S. Arabia for Umrah pilgrimage

Speaking in an interview with Al Arabiya, Ambassador of Iran to Saudi Arabia Alireza Enayati touched upon the resumption of Umrah pilgrimage of Iranians to Saudi Arabia after several years of hiatus.
This measure is taken within the framework of the agreement reached between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia in Beijing
The resumption of direct flights between the two countries and several Umrah flights are parts of this agreement, he noted.
According to the agreement between Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and Saudi Arabia's Ministery of Islamic Affairs, 90,000 Iranian citizens will depart for Umrah pilgrimage this year, Enayati said.
