The funeral ceremony of Martyr Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, is held in Shah Abdol-Azim shrine in Rey city of Tehran province.
A large number of people attended Shah Abdol-Azim shrine to perform the funeral of martyr Amir-Abdollahian.
Mohammad Javad Zarif, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Peyman Jebali, head of the IRIB, Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Bagheri, Zahra Mostafavi, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Iraj Masjedi, Yahya Rahim Safavi, Ali Larijani, Abbas Araghchi, Mehdi Chamran are among the attendees in this ceremony.
It should be noted that the body of Martyred Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was transferred to Mashhad last night for the circumambulation at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
Earlier on Thursday morning, a farewell ceremony was also held for late Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian at the venue of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
This ceremony was held with the presence of domestic and foreign officials and personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mashq Square at the foreign ministry premises in the capital city of Tehran.
Former Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, the Iranian Parliment Speaker Maohammad Bagher Ghalibaf were also present in this ceremony.Some Jewish rabbis also took part at the farewell ceremony of the Iranian Foreign Minister.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani and the former Speaker of the Parliament of Iran Ali Larijani have also attended this ceremony.
The presence of foreign delegations in Iran to pay tribute to martyrs was a sign of the growth and success of the neighborhood policy, the Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani told Mehr News on the sidelines of the funeral.
Also, Iranians gather in Tehran to bid farewell to FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who will be buried in the shrine of Shah Abdol-Azim in the town of Shahr-Rey south of the capital.
