MEHR: The Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) foreign ministers have condemned Israeli strikes on Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire in the enclave.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, the PGCC foreign ministers slammed the Zionist regime for attacks on the Gaza Strip and emphasized their support for the Palestinian nation.
The statement called for an immediate cessation of Israeli military operations in Gaza and urged the international community to take a decisive position to secure a ceasefire.
Also, the PGCC foreign ministers rejected accepting any justification for continuing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, adding that Israel has adopted a collective punishment policy against the homeless inhabitants of the Gaza Strip.
We do not accept Israel's actions to displace or evacuate Gaza residents. Israel must implement the measures taken by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to prevent the massacre of the Palestinian people, it added.
