US demands transparent mass grave investigation

MEHR: The White House says it wants “answers” from Zionist officials after the discovery of mass graves at Gaza hospitals destroyed in Israeli sieges.
More than 300 bodies of people – killed and buried by Zionist forces at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis – have so far been recovered. Other graves at al-Shifa Hospital in northern were also located.
“We want answers. We want to see this thoroughly and transparently investigated,” US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters, Al Jazeera reported.
Hospitals, which have protection under international law, have repeatedly come under Israeli bombardment during more than six months of war in Gaza.
Israel waged its brutal war on besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out an unprecedented operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.
Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
