IRNA – The opposition leader of the Zionist regime, Yair Lapid, said that the dossier known as “Qatar-Gate” and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s evasion of responsibility are the real reasons for the dismissal of the head of the regime’s Intelligence and Security Service (Shabak).
Yair Lapid, regarding the political and legal crisis experienced by the regime after the dismissal of Shabak Chairman Ronen Bar by the Netanyahu cabinet, said, “Netanyahu’s evasion of responsibility and his fear of the ‘Qatar-Gate’ issue are the main reasons for the hasty and hysterical dismissal of the Shabak chairman.”
Lapid stressed that if the current Israeli cabinet continues in office every passing day, it will lead to a new disaster and the price of this disaster will be human lives.
In the shadow of the internal political conflicts among the leaders of the Zionist regime and the war against the Gaza Strip, a controversial file concerning the prime minister's office, referred to in political circles as "Qatar-Gate", has come to the fore.
This dossier, known as "Qatar-Gate", which includes secret relations between Netanyahu's office and the state of Qatar, is a security issue that, according to Shabak's assessments, reveals that Netanyahu's office has been involved in activities contrary to the interests of the Israeli regime and has harmed the security of this regime during the Gaza War. Shabak claims that Netanyahu's top advisors and his close circle have received financial payments from Qatar in exchange for supporting and protecting Qatar's interests in the occupied territories.
